Subject: SuSE email moves to groupware - Open, Aug. 12, 2002
For Open Magazine Subscribers

Linux is a superior operating system because it is reliable, because it
is secure, because it has the support of a global community, because
it's yada yada yada, (our fashionable way of saying blah blah blah).
Linux overviews become more interesting when you get into embedded
Linux
territory. Despite all the provable embedded Linux technology
advantages, vendors of this technology can go absolutely broke when
they
fail to tie their business models with partners who know how to tap
into
consumer needs.

There's no yada yada yada in this week's openBench Labs, which relays
in
detail the interesting gains it discovered in running the new release
of
SuSE's eMail Server 3.1. Can you spell groupware and, more importantly,
what's the value of Outlook integration?
